Where small millets grow
Small millets are rain-fed and hardy. They grow across the Deccan and central Indian belt, on land where irrigated cereals are not viable: Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Uttarakhand.
We source against each order rather than from a fixed set of farms. Region is selected on the quality and harvest timing of the season, and the region of any supplied lot is declared to the buyer.
Browntop millet is the exception. It is grown in a narrow belt across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and has no cultivation tradition elsewhere in India. Browntop volumes should be booked ahead of the season.
How the grain is sourced

Pre-season contracting
Purchase prices are agreed with growers before sowing, not at harvest. That is what keeps growers on the rarer millets, where open-market demand is thin and prices swing.

One variety per cluster
Each grower cluster is contracted for a single millet. Lots do not blend across farms or seasons, so a certificate of analysis resolves to one harvest at your end.

Farmgate price on record
The purchase price for any supplied lot is recorded against that lot and available to buyers on request.
From intake to container
Processing at partner facilities
Dehulling, graded sizing and gravity separation at certified partner facilities, under our specification and supervision. Lot identity is maintained through processing.
Testing, approval, dispatch
Tested at an accredited third-party laboratory, then dispatched within 7 days of lot approval. Sealed retention samples held 6 months against any query.
